Do I need a prescription?
Yes. A licensed provider must review your information; if appropriate, a prescription will be issued. If treatment isn’t appropriate for you, no medication is prescribed.
What is a compounded medication?
A compounded medication is prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient based on a prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA approved and are not generic equivalents of brand-name drugs. About our pharmacies.
Is treatment available in my state?
Care is available in all 50 states and DC. In 44 states you start with an online questionnaire. In DC, KS, LA, MS, NM, RI and WV, a live consultation with a provider is required before treatment. Availability of specific medications may vary by state.
What does the monthly price include?
Your provider consultation, the medication if prescribed, supplies for injections, and shipping from a licensed U.S. pharmacy. See current prices on the GLP-1 Treatment page.
Do you accept insurance, HSA or FSA?
Onvytal is a cash-pay service. We don’t bill insurance, and we don’t currently accept HSA or FSA payments. See our Terms.
What about side effects?
Common side effects of GLP-1 medications include nausea, constipation, diarrhea and stomach discomfort. Your licensed provider reviews the potential risks with you and explains what to watch for. See Important Safety Information for details.
Will I regain weight if I stop treatment?
Some people regain weight after stopping a GLP-1 medication. Your provider can help you plan for maintenance, healthy habits and follow-up based on your needs.
How does shipping work?
If a provider prescribes treatment, a licensed U.S. pharmacy fills your prescription and ships it to your address. Shipping is included in your plan. See our Cancellation & Refund Policy for damaged or lost shipments.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel anytime through your patient account. To avoid the next charge, cancel at least 72 hours before your next billing date. If a provider finds you medically ineligible at your first evaluation, you receive a full refund. Details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
